Grandmother Maria Alice Campos Freire, born in Brazil, endured war and persecution from a young age. At 17, she was imprisoned and tortured while pregnant. After becoming a political refugee in Europe and Africa, she received amnesty to return to Brazil, where she led a spiritual community deep within the Amazon Rainforest. She shares insights into the Grandmothers and their vital mission.
