Economics, Environment & Disasters: Why Solar Microgrids Work | Craig Lewis | TEDxReImagineScience

Craig Lewis, principal founder of the Clean Coalition, spearheads the creation of resilient, reliable, and sustainable energy grid solutions, including local microgrids vital for emergency services during disasters. His vision is inspired by Germany's successful integration of renewables for grid resilience.

With over 30 years of experience in renewables, wireless, semiconductor, and banking, Craig holds an MBA and MSEE from USC, and a BSEE from UC Berkeley. He previously implemented solar solutions as VP of Government Relations at GreenVolts and advised on energy policy for Steve Westly's 2006 gubernatorial campaign.
