Despite rising global carbon levels, climate change has struggled for mainstream political priority. However, a new interest in green politics may be emerging. Thirty years after the IPCC's 1988 establishment and with the 2050 Paris Agreement target approaching, it's timely to assess the UK's current climate change politics.
