In his memoir, Bird Uncaged: An Abolitionist's Freedom Song, he advocates for recentering humanity, embracing diverse identities, and prioritizing healing over punishment. He exposes incarceration's brutality and the American Dream's hollowness, urging us to break societal cages.

His insights stem from ten years incarcerated after a robbery at 19, where he pursued education and anti-violence activism. Peterson envisions a new world focused on ending mass incarceration and achieving justice.
