At the 2011 conference, Emmet Brady of the Insect News Network (INN) was interviewed by Ruth Ann Barrett of EarthSayers.tv, voices of sustainability. Emmet's mission is to educate and empower people to care for the natural world through Cultural Entomology.

Having grown up on a Superfund site in Denver's Globeville neighborhood, she deeply understands the struggles of impoverished communities, inspired by her grandparents' role in the site's cleanup.

His experimental film "SchoolScapes" (2007), made at Rishi Valley, won the Basil Wright Film Prize. His latest film, "Gandhi's Children" (2008), focuses on a New Delhi children's shelter.
