This program helps federally-assisted schools meet Constitution Day requirements, which mandate annual educational programs around the Constitution's signing anniversary.

The lecture, "Founders, Framers and The Future: Applying the Constitution in the 21st Century," features a conversation with Professor Mary Sarah Bilder (Boston College Law School, author of *Madison's Hand*) and Professor Akhil Reed Amar (Yale Law School, author of *The Constitution Today*).

The panel, "Climate Finance for Climate Justice," was held on Monday, June 23, 2025, during the Global Women’s Assembly for Climate Justice: Path to COP30 and Beyond. Hosted by the Women’s Earth and Climate Network (WECAN) from June 23-28, 2025, the session featured experts from organizations including Third World Network, Oil Change International, Latindadd (Latin American and for the Caribbean Network for Social, Economic and Environmental Justice), and Tax Justice Network Africa.

Organized by WECAN, the Assembly brought together over 125 grassroots and frontline women leaders, global advocates, and policymakers representing 50 countries. Across 25 unique panels, speakers showcased diverse visions, projects, and strategies to accelerate a bold and transformative path towards a healthy and just world.

She will guide a conversation on safe human-animal integration, moderated by Wired's science editor, Kara Platoni. The event is hosted by The Commonwealth Club of California, the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum.

Dr. Almandrez is the Associate Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at the University of Rhode Island, where she champions diversity, equity, and fosters a vibrant community. Previously at Brown University, she advocated for student success and oversaw key student services, including Residential Life and Student Support. She also chaired Brown’s Threat Assessment Team.
