Afia's diverse background also encompasses 15 years as a creative head in advertising. A LEAD and Australia Awards Fellow, she is deeply engaged in climate change policy advocacy and activism. She currently serves as President of Baanhn Beli, Vice President of Salman Sufi Foundation, and Chair of the Indus Earth Trust Board of Trustees.

Hans Peter Lankes (IFC) stressed that governments, individuals, the private sector, and civil society must all contribute ideas and change behaviors.
