Medical Physicist and Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco shares her journey as a climate action advocate, inspiring global citizens to contribute to environmental care. Her advocacy began with energy conservation after winning Miss Earth Philippines in 2017.

As Miss Earth 2017, Ibasco expanded her work, participating in international climate conferences, delivering environmental talks, and educating students worldwide. She has joined organizations like CORAL, Plastic Solutions, and WWF Philippines, and serves as the youth ambassador for the Climate Change Commission. Last September, she represented the Philippines as its first youth ambassador at the UN Youth Climate Summit in New York.

Father Charles Moore (1927-2007) was a spiritual teacher, historian, and scholar. A Stanford Law graduate, he served as Santa Cruz County District Attorney in 1954. He later became a Roman Catholic priest in 1964, holding degrees in philosophy and theology from Catholic University.

Known as "Father Charlie," he studied many languages, including Native American. His teachings blended wisdom from Buddhist, Jewish, Hindu, Hawaiian, Celtic, and Native American spiritualities, and he particularly enjoyed working with the Esselen people of Monterey County.
