For generations, the Gwich'in people of Alaska and northern Canada have depended on caribou migrating through the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge's coastal plain. Their traditional culture faces threats from oil extraction and climate change. Two Gwich'in women continue a decades-long fight to protect their land and future.

The Arctic Refuge is vital for Alaska Native subsistence and represents an unspoiled natural world. Despite its importance, the Trump administration plans to allow oil and gas drilling in the coastal plain. This drilling would destroy intact wilderness and violate the human rights of the Gwich'in, who rely on this sacred place.

JustUs is the story of a family in the Española Valley of New Mexico ministering to their community during an epidemic of heroin addiction and political corruption.  This location is the homeland of a variety of Indigenous tribes.  In 1598 Spanish Conquistadores attempted to colonize this area. The Pueblo rebellion of 1680 was a reaction to enslavement that resonates with historical traumas that even remain today.  Most of the people here are bi-racial.
