Dr. Elizabeth A. Kócs, an environment-behavior scientist, specializes in energy, sustainability, and urban resilience. Her work focuses on transportation, the electrical grid, and smart cities, leveraging expertise to address climate-related energy and transportation challenges.

The Turtle Lodge, in partnership with Manitoba 150 and IG Wealth Management, presents a series of short animated films on the Seven Sacred Laws. Written by Anishinaabe Elder Dr. David Courchene and Cree Director Erica Marie Daniels, these vignettes, available in English, French, and Anishinaabe, follow an Indigenous boy's vision quest. He meets seven sacred animals who teach him how to live on Mother Earth.

Created by Manitoba’s Peg City Pictures Inc., these films share Indigenous stories in their own voices, making them accessible to all peoples.
