In this interview on the sustainability benefits of local agriculture, SPR founder Tony DeFazio speaks with Adam Reed, founder of Tangleroot Farm, about their Community Supported Agriculture program. This CSA, sometimes called a farm share, is like a monthly produce subscription box that provides people, restaurants, and local produce markets with certified organic fruits and veggies that were grown locally. Listen in as these two entrepreneurs talk sustainability and how shortening our food supply chains can help boost the local economy.

Adam Dorr is an environmental social scientist, technology theorist, and research fellow at RethinkX. He believes that we already have the technology and power to achieve climate change and that there is greater cause for optimism that ever before. His current work is focused on the disruption of the global energy sector by new energy generation and storage technologies, its intersection with similar disruptions set to unfold in the transportation and food sectors, and their combined implications for climate change. He completed his MS at the University of Michigan's School for the Environment and Sustainability and his PhD at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs, where he studied environmental politics, policy, and planning around disruptive technologies. Adam Dorr is an environmental social scientist, technology theorist, and research fellow at RethinkX.
