This unprecedented project, driven by Indigenous leadership and non-Indian allyship, represents a watershed moment of co-equal decision-making between tribes and the U.S. government. Once complete in 2024, it will liberate 400 miles of the Klamath River and its tributaries, allowing them to run free from Oregon through California to the Pacific Ocean.
