Jeffrey Mah, a doctoral candidate at University College London and founder of Otak Natural Skincare, highlights the vital role of botanicals in medicine. His research focuses on molecular biology and organic chemistry for drug discovery, currently extracting SFTI-1 from sunflowers for eczema treatment. He aims to raise awareness of the nature-medicine relationship and encourage biodiversity preservation for environmental and human survival.
