This talk by a young innovator and entrepreneur offers a green solution to the massive socio environmental problem of crop burning which has become a potential hazard in Northern India these days. He developed a curiosity in Science while he was at school and later graduated from Imperial College of London with a Masters in Science in Chemical Engineering. He co-founded a Start-Up, wherein they developed a pioneering material from the leftover biomass and was invited to the Buckingham Palace by Her Excellency Queen Elizabeth ll for this achievement. He's the founder & CEO of Craste, a TechStars company, founded on the principle of “maximum efficiency, zero waste” and is a global accelerator. Shubham has received various awards for his initiative. Notably, the BIRAC SoCH Innovation award from Minister of Science & Technology and Rural Innovation Award at National Conference on Social Innovation. He is an alumnus of Pitch at Palace, an organization by Duke of York. He's also the founder and President of Gramiksha, a non profit which works on youth mobilization in the educational settings that he set up at the age of 19. He emphasizes that countries need big hearts to move parallel with the Paris Agreement. He announced establishment of Eco-Clubs in his Institutions so that the young minds will carry the movement forward with greater dedication for future generations. Dr.Prasad Rao Enuganti is the Founder and Chairman of Paramita Group of Institutions, I.R.I.S World School(I.C.S.E) and Explorica(Cambridge Affiliation). He has been the Academic Advisor for Telangana Recognized Schools Management Association(T.R.S.M.A.) having membership of around four thousand schools, since 2015 and has been Advisor for National Independent Schools Alliance(N.I.S.A.) since 2019. More than Five Thousand students are accessible to world class education under his mentorship. Established Paramita High School in 1996 with 250 students. His strong commitment and dedicated efforts helped The Paramita Group to expand beyond expectations in 25 years. He strongly believes that economic conditions, socio-cultural aspects may affect cognitive development of Children marginally whereas right exposure to holistic education coupled with right mentoring and scaffolding contributes to nurturing of talent in diverse disciplines. Emphasizes the need for disruption and is prepared grounds for hooking to the changes in Education happening locally and globally. Conducted Professional Development Programmes for Teachers and Principals for two decades across various institutions in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and in few other states in the country. Had been the part of delegation to study Finland Education in 2009 and been to study New Zealand Education in 2018. He drives the institutions with inherent value system and is always on a mission mode to offer the child its right place in learning through assessment, experimentation, understanding and discovery. Olivia Oguadinma in Nigeria discusses the role of storytelling in motivating her peers to meaningful action. Through her Gems on Earth podcast she reaches young people throughout Western Africa and beyond. Doerte Wihan, a mother of five and a kindergarten teacher in Berlin, Germany, had not given climate change much of a thought. Then she attended a student climate strike with one of her children. This one event launched her into the world of extreme climate change activism. She is now a member of the climate protest group, Extinction Rebellion. She talks about her dramatic transformation and the strength she has found being in community with fellow climate activists. Artist Shane Petzer in Barrydale, South Africa talks about turning trash into art. Through the Magpie Art Collective, he and fellow artists create breathtakingly beautiful chandeliers all made from trash. Two of these hung in the White House in the Obama’s private quarters. During this time of Coronavirus lockdown, Magpie Art Collective have partnered with the Quakers in the Western Cape to create #QuakerPeaceDoves. Find out about how you can take part in the collective remotely and turn your trash into art. And in the USA we feature Solomon Goldstein-Rose. In 2017 at the age 22 Solomon was elected to Massachusetts legislature. After a two year term, he decided he would not run again. Instead he has been ramping up his efforts to get us thinking and acting about climate change. In March just as the Covid-19 Global Pandemic shut everything down, Solomon published his first book: The 100% Solution. A Plan for Solving Climate Change. The book is filled with whimsical and technically accurate illustrations by visual artist and writer, Violet Kitchen. She tells us about the role art can play in change movements.

When we think of waste, we normaly don`t think about fethers. But keratine waste is a big problem in the food industry because it does not decompose easily. Current waste management of fether waste is most often limited to burning them or soaking them in chemicals. Microorganisms help us solve this problem much better. Beti has been passionate about the world of microorganisms since a very early age. She is a Young Researcher at the Microbiology and Microbe Biotechnology Department at the Biotechnical Faculty. Nowadays, Beti is working on her doctorate, researching the decomposition of keratin waste with microbes in the agro-industry. Beti is also very active at raising awareness about science and spreading the knowledge among people. She is a member of Science on the Street (Slo. Znanost na cesti) and has participated in several science slams, including the European Science Slam in which she represented Slovenia in September 2019. Beti's vision is to take projects from laboratory to practice, and is guided by a single idea: ""For those who are curious, the whole world is a laboratory. Beti je mlada raziskovalka na Katedri za mikrobiologijo in mikrobno biotehnologijo Biotehniške fakultete. Zase pravi, da jo je svet mikroorganizmov odnesel že zelo zgodaj. Danes pa, tekom doktorata, z mentorico doc. dr. Mašo Vodovnik in somentorico prof. dr. Romano Marinšek Logar prve v Sloveniji raziskujejo razgradnjo keratinskih odpadkov s pomočjo mikrobov v agroživilski industriji. Beti je zelo aktivna tudi pri ozaveščanju in širjenju znanosti med ljudmi. Je članica ekipe Znanost na cesti, sodelovala je pri večih znanstvenih slamih, med drugim tudi na evropskem znanstvenem slamu, kjer je septembra 2019 predstavljala Slovenijo.
