Heavy rainfall over the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, and the eastern Pacific Ocean predicts 100°F (38°C) temperatures in California's Central Valley within 4 to 16 days. This finding comes from a collaborative research team at UC Davis and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Climate Center in Busan, South Korea.
