An optimistic message suggests human-caused climate change will be largely solved within 10-15 years, driven by exponential changes we often underestimate. History shows we consistently misjudge the speed of transformational shifts, like the move from horses to automobiles or America's journey to oil independence.

We are seeing this underestimation again in the transition from a fossil fuel to a low-carbon economy. This perspective comes from David Leuschen, Co-Founder of Riverstone Holdings, a private equity firm focused on energy, and former Goldman Sachs executive.
