They also shared insights on cultural practices like dancing, fiddling, jigging, square dancing, clothing, medicine, midwifery, and significant historical events such as the 1885 Resistance and Louis Riel.

When the Taliban seized power in August 2021, Ascend became their only chance to escape the restrictive regime.
