Seeking purpose in a new career at 48, Cheryl resolved to hike all 48 grueling White Mountains in New Hampshire, despite a fear of heights. Her ten-year quest, inspired by the AMC Four Thousand Footer Club, saw her overcome injuries, grief, and breast cancer, finding solace and recovery in the wild.
