Max Wilbert is an organizer, writer, and wilderness guide. He has authored two books, most recently "Bright Green Lies: How the Environmental Movement Lost Its Way and What We Can Do About It" (Monkfish 2021), co-authored with Derrick Jensen and Lierre Keith.

An accomplished essayist, Wilbert's work has been translated into six languages. He also wrote the introduction for the French translation of the Earth First! Direct Action Manual.
