In this talk, Afia Salam, a veteran journalist with four decades of experience, shares her journey as an environment journalist. Her pioneering career includes being Pakistan's first female cricket journalist and serving in the first batch of female Air Traffic Controllers.

Afia's diverse background also encompasses 15 years as a creative head in advertising. A LEAD and Australia Awards Fellow, she is deeply engaged in climate change policy advocacy and activism. She currently serves as President of Baanhn Beli, Vice President of Salman Sufi Foundation, and Chair of the Indus Earth Trust Board of Trustees.
