The "Westwood Next Door" project, developed by the M06 student group, proposed sustainable interventions for Seattle's Westwood-Highland Park neighborhood. Operating under the motto "small measures for big changes," their goal was to improve the area by considering residents' needs and interests, specifically avoiding gentrification.

The strategy focused on promoting sustainable thinking, community engagement, green transportation, streetscape greening, and temporary uses for brownfields and vacant buildings.
