On June 24, 2018, an interfaith gathering for Immigrant Justice protested President Trump's "Zero Tolerance" policy at the Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon. Participants prayed, sang, and read scripture, opposing the internment of 123 refugees and the separation of parents from their children.

Despite officials portraying objectors as "radicals," diverse Portlanders united, led by love, to condemn the policy as immoral and support detainees. International media and science communities are invited to mark the launch of a new Topical Collection (TC) in the journal *Climatic Change*. This TC focuses on Climate Change Communication and the IPCC, showcasing expert research and policy insights relevant to the IPCC's work.

A diverse panel of authors will present key findings from three TC papers on public understanding, engaging young people, and democratizing knowledge. IPCC Vice Chair Thelma Krug will offer critical reflections, followed by a Q&A session and a 'pitch contest' to conclude the event.
