Natural leadership, intergenerational community building, and lifelong learning are themes Doug Cohen addresses as part of his work with students and youths.  In this  video he talks about the "Call of the Time" a teaching of the Brahma Kumaris organization and the importance of a pursuing a "diet of perception input that is very diverse." 

Doug was interviewed by Barry Heidt of Sustainability Action Media (SAM) at the SEED Graduate Institute's Conference, Wisdom from the Origins, September 13-17, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The conference featured a Youth Leadership and Scholarship Program led by Doug Cohen and Sabine Amend.

The Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) is the premier global community solely dedicated to sustainability in the meetings and events industry, not only through education but also by spearheading research, policy and standards. Dan Pingaro is the Executive Director of Sailors for the Sea

Dan Pingaro is the Executive Director of Sailors for the Sea (sailingsforthesea.org), the only ocean conservation nonprofit focused on the sailing and boating community. In this interview he talks about the Clean Regatta Program at the America's Cup races held this last September 2013 in San Francisco, California. 

Since July 2011, Sailors for the Sea (Newport, RI) has worked with the America's Cup Event Authority to support the vision and plan of delivering a model sustainability sporting event. In October Sailors for the Sea awarded the 34th America's Cup their highest level Clean Regattas certification!

As Public Works Director and City Engineer of Oregon City, Nancy Kraushaar, P.E. directs a dedicated top-notch staff who are well-trained and committed to serving customer needs when it comes to public infrastructure and facilities. Their job is to deliver safe and reliable sewer, storm water, transportation, and potable water systems to their users. The Public Works staff plans, constructs, and maintains these systems with a close eye on high quality, progressive practices, controlling costs, and customer service. Oregon City was the first city in the United States west of the Rocky Mountains to be incorporated. It is the county seat of Clackamas County, Oregon.
