At the time of his TEDx talk, Dr. Wagner held multiple roles at Harvard, including executive director of its Solar Geoengineering Research Program. A former senior economist at the Environmental Defense Fund and author of the bestselling book "Climate Shock," he now teaches at New York University.

He organized Harvard’s fossil fuel divestment campaign, serves as a consulting expert for climate change litigation, and his research is widely published and cited, including in the US Congressional Record.
