The idea of a farmers market where producers can sell their products directly to customers isn't new. In Indonesia, where the marketing of harvests is still ruled by intermediaries, it's somewhat unheard. ⁣ However, you can find a farmers market called Earth Market Surabaya held monthly on a CBD at West Surabaya. Earth Market offers a chance of interacting directly with food & beverages purveyors, food and non-food artisans as well as local designers while enjoying the multicultural community that it offers. Chef Inda Kusuma is a facilitator, a Chef instructor, and also a slow-food organic movement activist. Samantha Mariano is a junior at West Virginia University studying civil and environmental engineering, and minoring in Spanish. In a time where both mental health and environmental issues have been brought to the forefront, Samantha has a passion for helping the community in every way she can, which includes sharing her ideas with others. Within the WVU community, she contributes articles centering around mental health through her campus WVU and has advocated for better mental health resources and campus sustainability initiatives through Active Minds WVU and the Sierra Student Coalition, respectively. Samantha (Sam) Mariano is a junior at West Virginia University (WVU) who is majoring in Civil & Environmental Engineering & minoring in Spanish. She currently serves as a club officer within the WVU chapter of Engineers Without Borders, American Society of Civil Engineers & Society of Women Engineers. In a time where both mental health & environmental issues have been brought to the forefront, Sam has a passion for helping the community in every way she can -and that includes sharing her ideas with others to educate and inform them. Within the WVU community, she contributes articles centering around mental health through Her Campus WVU and has advocated for better mental health resources and campus sustainability initiatives through Active Minds WVU and the Sierra Student Coalition, respectively. The key concepts of hydrogen are presented with a focus on the work being undertaken in Cheshire (UK) to contribute to the North West decarbonisation transition. One such project involves converting two refuse bin trucks and an operational vehicle to fuel cells alongside a hydrogen refuelling station in Middlewich. Lily Bernadet has been working across various teams and departments at ENGIE for the past 6 years. ENGIE has the ambition of being a major player in hydrogen. The group is committed to developing solutions based on renewable hydrogen, produced by electrolysis using a green energy supply. Lily works for Storengy UK, a company of ENGIE actively working with local partners in the North West and across the UK to develop projects the entire value chain of renewable hydrogen, from carbon-free power generation to the three key end uses: mobility, industry and energy storage.
