Jonathan Healy is an environmental economist with BA, MSc, and PhD degrees from University College Dublin. He serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at Forfás, focusing on environmental and infrastructural policy, and is a Research Associate at Trinity College Dublin's Policy Institute.

The event focused on the "Half-Earth" pathway, which emphasizes conserving 50% of terrestrial and ocean areas by 2050 in biodiversity-rich zones and connecting corridors. Dr. Jonathan Kolby, long fascinated by reptiles and amphibians, is dedicated to preventing their extinction in Honduras. A global chytrid fungus outbreak severely threatens frog populations, especially in cloud forests like Cusuco National Park.

Kolby founded the Honduras Amphibian Conservation and Rescue Center to treat sick frogs from Cusuco, preparing them for reintroduction. His mission also includes sharing Honduras' incredible biodiversity and fostering greater involvement of local students in conservation.
