Ann McLane Kuster has served as the U.S. Representative for New Hampshire's Second Congressional District since 2013. She came to Washington determined to put an end to the gridlock, and during her time in office she has established a record of working across the aisle to get things done for her constituents in the Granite State. A strong advocate for seniors, students, veterans, and women and their families, Annie has always been committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to Granite Staters, like increasing access to higher education and affordable health care, and cutting waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government to ensure our taxpayer dollars are used wisely. Lt Cdr Aishwarya Boddapati takes you on the interesting voyage on board INS Tarini as part of Navika Sagar Parikrama through her talk in this video. She tells you how once you are at sea, nothing matters except your presence of mind and your survival instincts, least of all your gender. Venturing into the unexplored South Oceans, experiencing rough weather conditions, strong winds, high waves splashing and sub-zero temperatures while being self-sufficient and managing maintenance and repairs of the equipment’s on their own while at sea are some of the memorable experiences that Aishwarya shares with us, while telling us that the best way to overcome your fear is to face it! Lt Cdr Aishwarya Boddapati is a an officer of Indian Navy who was part of the first all-women’s crew to circumnavigate the globe.
