Dr. Nevada Winrow, a Pediatric Neuropsychologist, is the Founder & CEO of Black Girls Dive Foundation. She brings over a decade of experience from clinical practice, academia, and higher education administration.

A PADI Master Scuba Diver, Dr. Winrow is a member of the Women's Diving Hall of Fame and the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. She also serves as the National Chairwoman of Youth programs for the National Association of Black Scuba Divers.

Armed militia, Black Lives Matter protesters collide in Louisville marches. This is what has been happening throughout many American Cities mostly as reported by news stations such as this one by the Lexington Herald Leader.  Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American emergency medical technician, was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove on March 13, 2020.

A heavily armed group calling themselves "American patriots" retreated after marching to downtown Louisville when they were confronted by Black Lives Matter protesters calling for justice for Breonna Taylor. 

The number of Black farmers has dramatically declined over the last century, a trend significantly hastened by the USDA's racist lending practices.

Attorney J.L. Chestnut, chief counsel for the Black Farmers class-action lawsuit against the USDA, secured the largest civil rights settlement in U.S. history. This landmark victory opened the door for restitution for Native American, women, and Hispanic farmers.
