This talk explores the paradox of biomass disposal versus utilization, highlighting innovative efforts to make residue conversion economically attractive. The goal is to turn "trash into cash," reducing environmental and economic damage from burning.

Kevin Kung, CTO of biomass technology start-up Takachar and a Cyclotron Road fellow, specializes in biomass and energy conversion.
