Etuaptmumk emphasizes integrating two or more perspectives for improved outcomes. Understood as a gift of multiple viewpoints, this framework enhances our shared lives, including our relationship with the Earth. The discussion highlighted how Two-Eyed Seeing necessitates collaborative learning and understanding, drawing parallels with the Two-Row Wampum for guiding cross-cultural collaboration.

A multi-award-winning marine conservationist and Youth Poet Laureate, Asa returned to Cuba to restore coral reefs. He found communities motivated by their love for the land, not paralyzed by climate change's injustices.

Asa shares the challenges and rewards of working with this under-resourced neighbor, offering valuable lessons for our own over-resourced world.

His research in the Caribbean and the United Kingdom investigates how major catastrophes (such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, landslides, tsunamis, and volcanoes) impact urban development, economies, and environments.
