Sense of belonging, seems like a topic that is far away from us. However, my experience of learning dancing and studying abroad in America demonstrates the power of the sense of belonging in China. How to acquire more sense of belonging? What can we gain from such belonging? Let's get started！ Lily, an IB student in grade 11 in NKCS. When she was a 14-year-old girl, she went to international boarding school in New York by herself. One year later, she transferred to NKCS due the covid-19. The experience that she underwent within studying abroad taught her how to be independent, overcame the difficulties, which understood deeply the meaning of choice. She has a friendly and outgoing personality, with wide range of interests such as dancing, piano, tennis, choir, painting, basketball, and calligraphy. Dancing is one of the most persistent hobby she had, got Chinese traditional dancing certificate in level 10, as well as participating in many dancing competitions and performances. She loves public speaking, actively participated in speech competitions in and outside during the primary and secondary school. Solving the world-wide issue of climate change will require innovative solutions. With as little time as 10 years to stop the current climate crisis, we need people of all ages to contribute their best ideas and thinking to find an answer. Fifth grader Lily Colson won the Stanley Black and Decker Sustainability Award at the 2019 National Invention Convention. Her Solar Lines concept displays the innovative thinking that is needed to address problems like climate change, demonstrating how the imagination of our youth can play a role in helping solve the problems their generation will face. The key concepts of hydrogen are presented with a focus on the work being undertaken in Cheshire (UK) to contribute to the North West decarbonisation transition. One such project involves converting two refuse bin trucks and an operational vehicle to fuel cells alongside a hydrogen refuelling station in Middlewich. Lily Bernadet has been working across various teams and departments at ENGIE for the past 6 years. ENGIE has the ambition of being a major player in hydrogen. The group is committed to developing solutions based on renewable hydrogen, produced by electrolysis using a green energy supply. Lily works for Storengy UK, a company of ENGIE actively working with local partners in the North West and across the UK to develop projects the entire value chain of renewable hydrogen, from carbon-free power generation to the three key end uses: mobility, industry and energy storage.
