Now, contemporary climate activism, especially by young people, offers hope for the radical systemic changes needed to save humankind.

Jakub Hrbáň, a Slovak coordinator for "Fridays For Future," embodies this hope. After high school, he joined the March 2019 climate strike and completed Sweden's Youth Initiative Program. He now leads "Miznúca Domovina" (Disappearing Homeland), a project merging ecology, education, and passion to spread climate awareness. This talk was given at a TEDx event.
