About This Collection

This collection was inspired by EarthSayer interviews of Roz Savage, ocean rower and environmental campaigner and Howard Lack, CEO of the Foundation, Plastic Oceans. 

Plastic Oceans provides a powerful and effective platform campaigning for, supporting and funding targeted solutions aimed at significantly reducing plastic pollution in the environment. Their aim is to significantly reduce plastic pollution in the environment. This collection calls out organizations and individuals around the globe who share a concern for the plight of our oceans.

How unscheduled learning opportunities drive progress

Each country, city, and river we deploy in has different realities. The choice of Interceptor solution, their location, and related operations are all data-driven and fit within local contexts. Even after deployment, our Interceptors are subject to ongoing assessments and potential changes to ensure they remain the best-fitting and most efficient solutions. Since its deployment, Interceptor 004 has stopped over 300,000 kg from entering the ocean. Now, it will undergo some upgrades based on developments in pollution and local river conditions.
