Máquinas desarrolladas para la agricultura familiar algodonera: Sembradora
January 02, 2026

As part of the Brazil-FAO +Algodón regional project, Embrapa Algodón developed a machinery kit for family farming. This four-year effort produced six key pieces of equipment: a mini gin, fire seed delinter, sprayer, seeder, soil preparation tools, and a tricycle. Detailed videos are available for each machine.

Since 2013, the +Algodón project has been a joint initiative of FAO, Brazil's ABC/MRE, and six partner countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru), aiming to strengthen the regional cotton sector.
