Tajikistan will host the 35th FAO Regional Conference for Europe (ERC35) from May 11-15, 2026. This key regional platform brings together FAO Members and stakeholders from across Europe and Central Asia for strategic dialogue on critical food and agriculture issues facing the region.

The conference, themed "Uniting for sustainability," focuses on integrating climate action, biodiversity conservation, and land restoration to advance resilient agrifood systems. Discussions align with the FAO Strategic Framework, addressing sustainable natural resource management, climate adaptation, and agrifood system financing. It also considers external factors, including regional crises and the war in Ukraine, while reviewing FAO's work and setting future priorities.
