Day 2: Ministerial Meeting | 39th FAO Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean

The FAO Regional Conference serves as an official forum for Member States to address priority food and agriculture challenges, fostering regional coherence on global policy. As FAO's main regional governing body, it ensures the Organization's effectiveness and defines biennial work priorities.

The 39th Regional Conference will facilitate high-level dialogue on Latin America and the Caribbean's progress and challenges in combating hunger and malnutrition. Brazil will host this session, demonstrating its strong commitment to regional efforts.
