Topics also include how farmers grow organic food and the quality of our food supply around issues to include local economy, seeding, use of pestisides and fertilisers, water, food security, availability and pricing.

Tajikistan hosts the 35th FAO Regional Conference for Europe (ERC35) from May 11-15, 2026. Members from Europe and Central Asia will hold strategic dialogue on food and agriculture issues. The conference, themed "Together for Resilience," integrates climate action, biodiversity, and land restoration for sustainable, resilient agrifood systems.

Aligned with FAO's 2022–2031 Strategic Framework, the agenda covers sustainable resource management, climate adaptation, and biodiversity to improve production and nutrition. Discussions will address external factors like regional crises, explore innovative financing, and review FAO's work to set future regional priorities.
